Garlic Butter Prawn & Chorizo Skewers

These Garlic Butter Prawn & Chorizo Skewers are packed with bold flavour and couldn't be easier to make. Succulent prawns are coated in Honeyberry's Garlic Butter Glaze before being threaded with smoky chorizo and cooked until beautifully golden. They're perfect for BBQs, summer entertaining, or a quick midweek dinner.

Ingredients

  • 200 g cooked and peeled king prawns
  • 100 g chorizo sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tsp vegetable or olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Butter Glaze
  • 4 wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the cooked prawns with the oil and Honeyberry Garlic Butter Glaze.
  • Mix well until all of the prawns are evenly coated.
  • Thread a prawn onto a skewer, followed by a slice of chorizo.
  • Repeat until the skewer is full, finishing with a prawn.
  • Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make four skewers.

Cook

  • BBQ: Cook over a medium heat for 5–7 minutes, turning regularly until the chorizo is lightly crisp and the prawns are heated through.
  • Grill: Place under a preheated medium-high grill for 6–8 minutes, turning halfway through.
  • Serve immediately with a fresh salad, rice, crusty bread, or grilled vegetables.
