Iced Blueberry Matcha
Fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavour, this Iced Blueberry Matcha is the perfect refreshing drink for warmer days. Sweet homemade blueberry syrup pairs beautifully with earthy matcha for a colourful café-style drink you can make at home in minutes.
- 1 tsp Freeze Dried Blueberry Powder
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp warm water
- 1 tsp matcha powder or according to your chosen brand
- 60 ml hot water not boiling
- 150 ml milk of choice
- Ice cubes
In a small bowl or glass, mix together the freeze-dried blueberry powder, honey, and warm water until smooth and syrupy.
Make your matcha according to the instructions on your chosen brand.
Typically, this involves whisking the matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy.
Fill a glass with ice cubes.
Drizzle some of the blueberry syrup around the inside of the glass and pour the rest into the bottom.
Add the milk, then slowly pour over the prepared matcha for a layered effect.
Stir before drinking and enjoy immediately.
