Maple & Chilli Kebabs

Sweet, smoky, and with just the right amount of heat, these Maple & Chilli Chicken & Halloumi Kebabs are perfect for the air fryer, BBQ, or grill. Juicy chicken and golden halloumi are coated in Honeyberry's Maple & Chilli Glaze before being finished with a sticky maple glaze for an irresistible caramelised finish.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts diced into bite-sized pieces
  • 225 g halloumi cut into cubes
  • 3 tbsp Maple & Chilli Glaze divided
  • 2 tsp vegetable or olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 4 skewers

Instructions

  • Place the diced chicken into a bowl with 1 tbsp Maple & Chilli Glaze and 1 tsp oil. Mix well until all the chicken is evenly coated.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the halloumi cubes with the remaining 1 tbsp Maple & Chilli Glaze and 1 tsp oil, tossing gently to coat.
  • Thread the chicken and halloumi onto the skewers, alternating between each ingredient until all the skewers are filled.
  • Place the kebabs into the air fryer and cook at 190°C for 12–15 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the halloumi is golden.
  • While the kebabs are cooking, mix together the honey, water, and 1 tbsp Maple & Chilli Glaze in a small bowl until smooth.
  • Once cooked, brush the kebabs generously with the maple and chilli glaze. Serve immediately with rice, flatbreads, salad, or grilled vegetables.
