Sweet & Spicy Chilli Relish

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Freeze Dried Strawberries
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • A small splash of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup water (add more as needed)

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine the freeze dried strawberries, chilli flakes, sugar, salt, red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, and water
  • Stir well and bring to a gentle boil over low heat.
  • Simmer gently, stirring occasionally, for 10–15 minutes until the mixture thickens into a jammy relish. Add a splash more water if it gets too thick.
  • Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Transfer to a clean, airtight jar and store in the fridge.
