Spiced Cheesecake Puff Pastry Bows

These adorable puff pastry bows are as delicious as they are eye-catching. Flaky, golden pastry is filled with creamy cheese, sweet white chocolate, a warming hint of mixed spice, and pops of tangy freeze dried raspberry, perfect for brunch, afternoon tea, or a festive treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry
  • 100 g cream cheese softened
  • White chocolate grated
  • ½ –1 tsp Honeyberry Mixed Spice Flavour to taste
  • 2 tbsp Honeyberry Freeze-Dried Raspberry Pieces
  • 1 egg beaten (for glazing)
  • Icing sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 190°C (fan 170°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, freeze-dried raspberry pieces, and Honeyberry Mixed Spice Flavour until smooth and well combined.
  • Unroll the puff pastry and cut out circles using a small bowl or cutter to get neat, even shapes.
  • Spoon a line of the filling down the centre of each pastry circle, then gently spread it out to cover the surface. Grate over white chocolate, adding as much or as little as you like.
  • Fold the pastry circle in half. From the folded edge, make two cuts up towards the top, stopping around ¾ of the way up, to create a central strip. Fold the two outer corners in towards the centre, then wrap the strip over the folded section and tuck it underneath to form a bow shape.
  • Transfer the pastries to the lined baking tray and brush with beaten egg.
  • Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until puffed, golden, and crisp.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving. Dust with icing sugar if desired, and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
